Sump Pump Battery Backup System. This pump requires a 12 Volt Battery which is not included. This system serves as a secondary sump pump, for added protection from flooding in case the primary sump pump fails due to power outages, flow-blockage from obstruction in sump pit, etc. It also functions as an audible alarm if the primary pump fails casing an unusually high water level in the sump. Serves as a secondary sump pump, for added protection in case the primary sump pump fails due to power outages or other factors.

Pump includes built-in check valve. Alarm buzzer activates when backup pump operates or battery is low. System uses a non-mercury, mechanical float switch.

System includes a 1-1/4"-1-1/2" PVC slip-fit tee adapter for discharge pipe attachment. Colored LEDs indicate backup pump system status. Motor - 12 Volt DC.
