This powerful 1/2 HP cast iron sump pump with the added security of a battery-operated backup system features vertical float switches and a high output of 4,200 GPH with an energy-efficient primary pump motor (UL listed). Split capacity motors require less amp draw, which means cooler running, continuous-duty motors which result in more power with less energy used. Pre-assembled kit easily connects to new or existing discharge line.

Primary pump features include 1/2 HP, 120 volt, 7.6 amp, AC motor, tough cast iron construction, 1-1/2" FIP discharge, thermoplastic impeller, vertical float switch, pumps up to 4,200 gallons per hour and handles up to 1/2" solids. Back up pump features a 12-volt DC motor, tough thermoplastic construction, 1-1/4" MIP or 1-1/2" MIP discharge, thermoplastic impeller, vertical float switch, pumps up 1380 gallons per hour and handles up to 1/8 solids.

Additional features include an electronics control panel with indicator lights, 87 decibel alarm with mute, thermoplastic battery box, battery (terminals included), and a low-battery alarm.
